Animal Shedding Their Skin

While some animals shed their skin or scales (scales are simply modified skin), some animals shed other types of external body coverings. for example, when you see an insect or arachnid shedding, you are actually watching the animal shed its exoskeleton, rather than its skin.. Shedding has little to no significance on the animal's ability to carry on daily activities, but molting causes a vulnerability in many animals. the tarantula and the snake are two such species. when they are molting, they are undergoing a stressful time and the "skin" underneath is fragile and new, so they're easily injured.. The shed skins of snakes often arouse curiosity among those who find them, but in actual fact, all animals shed their skins. this is not obvious in mammals such as humans, as it is an ongoing, unnoticed, process in which dead cells are continuously coming off. reptiles, however, are different in that they shed periodically, and in the case of snakes, the entire skin normally comes off in one.

Here is the animals shedding, molting, skin, shell - amazing nature in the world. shedding own shell of crab , spider, tarantula molting, insect & snake shedding skin process.
